LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WLFI) – South Tipp Park is getting a new look. Lafayette officials and members of Subaru of Indiana Automotive broke ground on a renovation project for the park Friday afternoon.

Renovation plans call for a new playground, basketball court and picnic area.

Lafayette Mayor Tony Roswarksi said the project will help revitalize the downtown area.

In March, News 18 reported that the project will cost around $260,000. The project is expected to be complete some time this fall.
