TIPPECANOE COUNTY, Ind. (WLFI) – Plans for a new wind farm in Tippecanoe County are moving forward. A public hearing will be held April 23 at 7 p.m. for the proposed Purdue Energy Park at the Board of Zoning Appeals meeting.

The wind farm will have 12 turbines routed to a Tipmont line. Purdue will use the turbines for research, data gathering and hands-on training.
