JASPER CO., Ind. (WLFI) – Due to a semi rollover, the Indiana State Police had closed Interstate 65 in Jasper County earlier Tuesday, but both directions are now open.

As of 11:45 p.m. Tuesday, Indiana State Police said southbound lanes of I-65 were reopened. Around 1 p.m., the northbound lanes have been partially reopened. ISP said at mile-marker 227, which is three miles south of the Roselawn exit, the right lane and shoulder have been opened to traffic.

Crews are still at the scene cleaning up the nitric acid spill, so use caution while traveling through the area. ISP said drivers need to be aware of workers wearing yellow vests in the area of the crash.
