TIPPECANOE CO., Ind. (WLFI) – Tippecanoe County Commissioners will discuss a proposed ordinance allowing certain off road vehicles and golf carts on county roads in its next meeting.

Some members of the County’s Technical Transportation Committee hope to sway the commissioners to vote against it.

The majority of the board voted Wednesday to send a letter in opposition to the proposed ordinance. Members cited the danger of busy county roads as a reason for the letter.

The proposed ordinance will be discussed Monday at 10 a.m. in the Tippecanoe County Building. The public is invited to attend.
