Lafayette man attacked while walking home

LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WLFI) – One man is in the hospital, and police are looking for the two people who reportedly attacked him on Lafayette’s south side.

Police said a man was walking near Casey’s General Store on State Road 25 early Wednesday morning when two people attacked him for unknown reasons. He was taken to a Lafayette hospital with a head injury where he was treated and released.

The men were described as two black males in their 20s. One was said to be about 5-feet-6-inches tall, and the other was described as a heavier-set male approximately 6-feet tall.
