LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WLFI) – Today is Good Friday and that means it’s time for St. Boniface’s annual Living Way of the Cross Passion play.

The live Stations of the Cross presentation took place on North Street beside the Church.
The Parish’s Latino youth group has spent months preparing for the event.
It took over 75 volunteers to make the Living Way of the Cross happen.
Father Tim Alkire says although the Passion play was in two languages the message is universal.

“Its been one of those things that the people look forward to every year. A lot of our parishioners here are immigrants. So this is something they would recognize even from their hometowns,” said Father Alkire.

Father Alkire also said the nice weather allowed for a larger turnout than in previous years.
