LPD investigates weekend spree of vehicle vandalism

LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WLFI) – Lafayette police are investigating a series of vehicle vandalism incidents that took place over the weekend.

Police say they responded to more than 20 reports of vehicles with slashed tires on Sunday.

The reports came from various locations but police say the main areas affected were the 1400 block of S. Second Street, Owen Street, Washington Street, Brown Street and various locations scattered in between.

According to police, most of the tires had more than one puncture mark.

Anyone with information is asked to call Lafayette police or the We-Tip Hotline at 800-78-CRIME.
