WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WLFI) – A substance-free program offers an alternative for Purdue students during Grand Prix week. The 14th Grand Alternative kicked off earlier this week. This year’s event includes a 5- K.. a Hawaiian Luau and a Root Beer and Karaoke night.
Event coordinator Jennifer Sula said the event is great way to have a positive impact on the community.
“Grand Alternative provides a way for students to get involved in a positive and safe way in Grand Prix Week. I think it can be a week that is a positive impact on campus and in the community and Grand Alternative showcases that,” said Sula.
Grand Alternative is open to all students and concludes Sunday. For more information as well as a list of this week’s events, click here.
