Bomb threat prompts Marion High School evacuation

MARION, Ind. (WISH) — A Central Indiana high school was evacuated for a bomb threat Friday, on the heels of four other schools being evacuated Thursday for a threat.

Marion High School students were sent to Indiana Wesleyan University following an initial lock down before noon on Friday, according to Marion Community Schools officials.

Parents were told to meet at IWU’s Luckey Arena to see their children.

On Thursday, a bomb threat mentioned three high schools in Henry and Hancock counties, causing four schools to be evacuated. No bomb was ever discovered.
