Purdue walks off on Ohio St. in 13 innings, 4-3


WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WLFI) – The Purdue Boilermakers opened their weekend series with Ohio State with a 4-3 walk-off win in 13 innings.

The Boilermakers tied the game at three runs a piece in the bottom of the fifth on a Jeff Evak two run inside the park home run. No one scored again until Kyle Wood poked one through the left side for the walk-off.

The Buckeyes and Boilermakers are back in action tomorrow at Alexander Field at 5:30 p.m.
