Student arrested for Córdova Recreational Center theft

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. (The Exponent) – On Wednesday afternoon, Purdue Police arrested a student suspected of stealing items from someone at the France A. Córdova Recreational Center.

The suspect, Jordan Shine, a sophomore in the College of Liberal Arts, has been charged with theft, a Class D felony which is punishable by up to three years in prison or a $10,000 fine. Shine was identified by video cameras in the facilities for the theft which was committed a day ago. Police urge students to lock up their belongings using either their own locks or locks provided by the center.
