Purdue’s starting point guard arrested

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WLFI) – The starting point guard for the Purdue women’s basketball team has been arrested.

The university confirmed that April Wilson was arrested over the weekend. According to online documents, she was arrested early Sunday morning on Hilltop Drive for public intoxication and disorderly conduct.

The Purdue Athletics Department said Coach Sharon Versyp is aware of the situation. She will gather all the details before determining any possible disciplinary action.
