PMU to host first ever ‘Family Fun Day’

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WLFI) – The Purdue Memorial Union will host the first ever Family Fun Day on Sunday, May 4.

The public is invited to come to the front lawn of the Union between 2 p.m. and 4 p.m. on Sunday where they can get free food, play carnival games, make crafts and more.

Margie Jones, PMU program director, said the goal of the event is to build upon the Union’s community-building mission.

The event is ideal for families with young children, especially looking for activities in the summer said PMU student representative Zach Dwenger.

In case of rain, Family Fun Day will be held inside the Union in the South Ballroom. The Union is located at 101 N. Grant St. in West Lafayette.

The event is free.
