LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WLFI) – The search is over for a Lafayette boy that went missing on Monday.

The Lafayette Police Department confirms they found 12-year-old Bailey Littrell on Wednesday at the corner of State Street and Earl Avenue on his bicycle. They said he was found in good condition.

Officers told News 18 this is not the first time Littrell has run away and that he was planning on going home tonight. Authorities said he was hiding at his 15-year-old cousin’s house. He said only his cousin knew he was there, the cousin’s parents had no knowledge of him staying at the home.

Littrell was taken into custody just after noon on Wednesday and transported to the Lafayette Juvenile Detention Center.
