One airlifted after White Co. crash

WHITE CO., Ind. (WLFI) – One person is airlifted after a crash Monday morning in White County.

At 8:19 a.m. Monday, White County dispatch got a 911 call of a personal injury crash. White County Sheriff Pat Shafer said the crash happened on County Road 475 North, near County Road 900 East.

Shafer said a preliminary investigation found a 2005 Ford Escape was traveling westbound on County Road 475 North, when for an unknown reason it left the south side of the road. When first responders arrived at the scene they found the driver lying on the ground next to the vehicle.

The driver, and only occupant in the car, is identified as Emily Duvall, 25. She was taken to IU Health White Hospital before being airlifted to St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis.
