Meade on top for Circuit Court Judge

TIPPECANOE CO., Ind. (WLFI) – The numbers are in for Republican primary for Circuit Court judge with Les Meade coming out on top.

Tippecanoe County is reporting that Les Meade won with 5,945 votes taking in 53,42 percent of the vote. Opponent Earl McCoy received 5,183 votes with 46.58 percent.

Winner Les Meade told News 18’s Holly Campbell about his victory.

“What we need to do is make some fundamental changes in the way judges in this county work together and that is what is necessary to have in Circuit Court,” said Meade.

There is not a democratic candidate running in the race for Circuit Court judge at this time.
