Camry production moving from Lafayette to Ky.

LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WLFI) – Toyota’s parent company confirmed in a statement Friday that it is moving production of the Toyota Camry from Lafayette’s Subaru of Indiana Automotive to the Toyota Motor Manufacturing plant in Georgetown, Ky.

That move is scheduled for fall of 2016.

SIA has built the Camry at its facility since 2007.
