LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WLFI) – Lafayette police said they have arrested two juveniles in connection with multiple home burglaries in the Columbian Park neighborhood.

Lafayette Police Sgt. Jay Rosen said officers received a call about another home burglary around 6:45 Friday night. Officers arrived to the home in the 300 block of South 31st St. and found two juvenile males. Police said one was wearing a backpack.

After further investigation, officers discovered the two juvenile suspects had committed at least 8 burglaries, dating back to April 25.

Police said these burglary arrests would not have been possible without the assistance from the residents in the Columbian Park neighborhood working together with the Lafayette Police Department.
