Colts waive former Boilermaker Carson Wiggs

INDIANAPOLIS (WLFI) – The Indianapolis Colts waived four players Monday, including former Purdue kicker Carson Wiggs.

Wiggs was signed by the Colts as a free agent on March 18, 2014. He finished his collegiate career (2008-2011) as the most accurate kicker in Purdue history, connecting on 53-of-72 career field goals (73.6%).

Wiggs was originally signed by the Seattle Seahawks as an undrafted free agent on April 28, 2012, but was waived prior to the start of the regular season. provides commenting to allow for constructive discussion on the stories we cover.
