LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WLFI) — Give your children a fun filled camp experience, while keeping them close to home. YWCA Greater Lafayette is hosting Summer Camp for area youth.

YWCA offers Summer Camp for children ages 5-12. YWCA’s Lisa Green said camp includes field trips, swimming, arts and crafts, outdoor activities and educational topics. She set the pool will reopen on July 1, 2014.

The camp runs Monday through Friday from June 9 to August 8, with the exception of being closed Friday, July 4. Summer Camp will be held at YWCA Greater Lafayette, 605 N. Sixth St., in Lafayette from 8:30 a.m. until 5:30 p.m. Children need to bring a sack lunch, however, snacks and drinks will be provided.

If you are interested in sending the little one to Summer Camp, just choose your week on the registration form. YWCA organizers said the cost is $100 per child per week, although there are limited scholarships available.
