LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WLFI) – IU Health Arnett is opening its doors for a free Health and Safety Fair on Saturday, May 17.
The interactive fair is something both parents and children can enjoy.
Kids can tour the Lifeline emergency helicopter, bring a stuffed animal to the Teddy Bear Clinic for a checkup, or even get a free helmet after riding through the fair’s bike rodeo.
There’s also freebies for adults too.
“We have plenty of free health screenings for all adults, CPR and AED training as well…Many of our booths have giveaways, so you won’t go home empty-handed,” said IU Health’s Renea Rosenbarger when she appeared on News 18 This Morning.
For the first time, IU Health will also host a 5K before the fair. The race begins at 10 a.m. You can either register online or at IU Health Arnett on Saturday.
The health and safety fair runs from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the garden level of IU Health Arnett Hospital at 5165 McCarty Lane. For a full list of events, head here.
