WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WLFI) – The first Purdue graduation of the weekend packed Elliott Hall of Music Friday evening.

The ceremony was for graduates in the Colleges of Education and Liberal Arts.

Graduates of other colleges will be awarded degrees Saturday and Sunday.

There are nearly 6,400 graduates this year from the West Lafayette campus. More than 4,000 of those students are expected to participate in commencement ceremonies.
