Colts Big Blue Football Camp visits Delphi

DELPHI, Ind. (WLFI) – Kids, parents and teachers ran football drills as a part of the Colts Big Blue Football Camp at Delphi Elementary School Monday.

Students from second through fifth grade ran through obstacle courses and were taught life skills, like teamwork and taking pride in accomplishments.

The camp was a part of the NFL’s Play60 movement, encouraging children to live an active lifestyle. Former Colts Player and two-time Superbowl Champion, Mike Prior, said he hopes they can help kids set goals for themselves.

“[We] try to get them thinking about their goals and dreams, and how to get there. And you know, part of it is just being active and being physical in life. And the healthier you feel, the better you are going to feel to achieve your goals,” said Prior.

The Colts Big Blue Football Camp visits about forty elementary schools and forty middle schools each year.
