BOONE COUNTY, Ind. (WLFI) – Interstate 65 in Boone County will be restricted to one lane in both directions due to construction starting Thursday evening.

According to the Indiana Department of Transportation, construction will begin on the State Road 39 Bridge in Lebanon beginning Tuesday. Traffic will be restricted to the right lane, north and south, between the hours of 9 p.m. to 6 a.m.

The left lanes in both directions will be closed late evening to early morning as crews will be installing the frames and panels over the middle lanes on I-65. Reith-Riley Construction Company, Inc. will be adding an architectural Lebanon sign onto the bridge, with funds provided by the city of Lebanon.

INDOT said this work is anticipated to be complete by June 24.
