WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WLFI) – From “MAMMA MIA!” and “Beauty and the Beast” to a discussion about the future of artificial intelligence, there’s a full slate of shows for Purdue Convocations this coming year.
The organization released the list of upcoming shows for its donor organization Thursday evening.
The season also has a performance of “Sister Act,” the musical, and a lecture with physicist Brian Green.
Convocations director Todd Wetzel said with performances becoming a powerful and shared experience, it’s good to make the unveiling an event of its own.
“People come to performance, after performance, and it becomes a community of its own. This is a chance for our people, if you think of it that way, to come together and celebrate the cultural life of the community and this organization in particular,” said Wetzel.
Several of the year’s events are designed around the theme of If/Then: Decoding our Future.
