INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – Broad Ripple’s first hotel opened its doors on Tuesday.

Hotel Broad Ripple sits directly on the Monon Trail. The boutique hotel features 9 rooms, all different in design and cost. Prices range from $160 to $275 per night.

A lounge inside offers small plates and drinks to guests and the public.

Debbie Stolen Hasbrook, owner of Hotel Broad Ripple, purchased two buildings, one which was built in the 1800′s, and combined them to create the hotel.

“I knew that there was a need for lodging. I’ve lived in this neighborhood for many many years and I’ve never had a place for our guests to stay when they would come for a visit so I felt that there were three voids in lodging. One was for Butler patrons, one was for businesses in the Broad Ripple area and the other just for people who live nearby needing a place to house their guests,” Hasbrook said.

Hasbrook said all of the rooms are already booked for this weekend and next.

The hotel is located at 6520 Westfield Boulevard. For more information, click here. provides commenting to allow for constructive discussion on the stories we cover.
