Putting it all together

CHALMERS, Ind. (WLFI) — The Frontier (25-5) baseball team will play Rockville (25-3) in the Class A regional at Carroll on Saturday at 12:30 p.m. The Falcons are confident they can advance if they play to their potenial for seven innings.

“We’ve played well in spots, but we haven’t put a whole game together. Last weekend in the championship, we walked eight guys and made four errors. So, we have a long way to go. If we put everything together like we are capable of doing, I firmly believe that it’s a state championship caliber team,” said Frontier head coach Ryan Long.

“I think cleaning things up this week is going to mean a lot to us. We’ve been struggling the past couple of games, so that’s why we have this week. We need to clean it up, and it’s going to be a major thing for this Saturday,” said Frontier senior shortstop/pitcher Brandon Gallinger.

The winner of Frontier/Rockville game will play against the winner of Seton Catholic/Monroe Central game in the regional final at 7:30 p.m.
