Main Street reopened near Alcoa entrance

LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WLFI) — The City of Lafayette reopened the portion of Main Street near Alcoa.

The railroad crossing on E. Main Street, near the Alcoa entrance, was closed for construction on the tracks. According to the City of Lafayette Engineering Department, the street reopened Friday around 1:30 p.m.

Main Street, near the Alcoa entrance, was closed Wednesday through Friday afternoon. The project was completed by RoadSafe.
