Frankfort man assaults officers after being caught snorting cocaine


LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WLFI) – A Frankfort man who allegedly snorted cocaine in a Lafayette bar and kicked an officer in the face is now facing charges.

According to court documents, Tyler Williams, 25, was at the Biltmore Tap Room Thursday morning when Lafayette police were trying to locate him.

Officers say they saw Williams snorting a substance off one of the tables that later tested positive for cocaine. When officers went to arrest Williams, he put his feet against a squad car and pushed against officers. At one point, he kicked an officer in the face. Officers said then a stun gun was used against Williams.
