4-H exchange program in need of host families

4-H in need if host families

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WLFI) – The 4-H student exchange program is in need of host families to host Japanese students.

4-H officials are looking for families to host eight female Japanese students that are 16-17 years old.

The students will be visiting from July 26 until Aug. 16. Any family with daughters is welcome to apply to host one of the eight remaining students. Program coordinator Linda Hines says the toughest part is saying goodbye.

“It’s a very rewarding experience. My family absolutely loved it when we did it. So many of the families that participate are really, you know, they’re same way,” said Hines.

For information on how to become a host family you can contact Linda Hines 765-494-8433 or go to the 4-H website.
