West Lafayette home damaged after fire

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WLFI) — A house in West Lafayette is damaged after a fire around 12:30 Friday afternoon.

It happened at the corner of Oak and Salisbury streets in West Lafayette. Firefighters said the homeowner was outside working when he noticed his house was on fire.

The homeowner called 911 and was not injured.

It took about an hour and half for crews to put the fire out.
