MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Ind. (WLFI) — Investigators still do not know whose body was found inside a trailer near Ladoga in Montgomery County Monday, but they are saying they believe it to be a middle aged white man.

As News 18 told reported Monday, the autopsy was scheduled Tuesday in Terre Haute, Ind. Detectives said that the body was fully clothed and partially decomposed.

The coroner found no immediate signs of homicide, but has not ruled it out completely.

The results of a DNA test as well as a toxicology report are expected to take weeks.

Investigators said the trailer was moved from Clinton, Ind. in Vermillion County about a week ago.

A relative of the landowner in Clinton was salvaging the trailer for scrap metal when he found the body in one of the rooms Sunday.
