LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WLFI) — For the 14th year in a row, La Scala restaurant is hoping to wow festival-goers at this year’s Taste of Tippecanoe.
La Scala will have traditional items, like their sausage sandwich, available for tasting. But this year, they will also be offering something new.
Co-owner Kirsten Serrano said the chef will be cooking up a newer, popular menu item.
“He’s offering a Ravioli Florentine, which is a jumbo ravioli with a Marsala cream sauce and spinach,” Serrano said. “It’s a best-seller here on the menu, so he wanted to add it to the Taste.”
Serrano said nearly every dish at La Scala is made with fresh ingredients from local farmers.
Tiramisu will also be offered as La Scala’s ticket taster.
