Power outages return to West Lafayette

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WLFI) — The city of West Lafayette is experiencing another round of power outages.

Duke Energy’s website confirms there are more than 4,500 in the West Lafayette area that are without power.

Officials with Duke said crews are working to fix the problem and believe power will be fully restored to all residents by 6:30 p.m.

Representatives said it is unknown at this time what has caused this outage.

On Monday, 4,900 customers in West Lafayette were affected by a power outage.
