Hulette Lowe, 30, is the subject of the week’s Fugitive Search. Police describe Lowe as 5-feet 11-inches tall, weighs 185 pounds, and has brown hair and brown eyes.

Lafayette Police Technician Matt Devine said in March of 2011, Lowe went to a local pharmacy with a forged prescription.

“The prescription originally called for 30 pills, and the prescription was changed to 130 pills,” Devine said. “The pharmacist noticed this and contacted police.”

Devine said Lowe was arrested for prescription fraud. He said she pleaded guilty and was sentenced to some prison time and probation.

In March of this year, a warrant was issued for her arrest because she was charged for theft in Lake County and missed a probation appointment.

Devine said she has connections to the Lafayette and Gary areas.

Anyone with information on Lowe’s whereabouts is asked to call the Lafayette Police Department at 765-807-1200 or the anonymous WeTip Hotline at 800-78-CRIME.
