Lafayette man sentenced for possessing child pornography

TIPPECANOE COUNTY, Ind. (WLFI) – A Lafayette man was sentenced to prison and probation after pleading guilty to multiple child pornography charges.

Prosecutors said Joel Lebo, 36, was sentenced to six months in prison, one year of supervised probation, and community service. He also has to register on the sex offender registry.

He pleaded guilty to three counts of possession of child pornography.

Prosecutors said Noblesville police traced a video of child pornography to Lebo’s computer in 2012. When they seized his computer, they found hundreds of images and videos of child pornography.
