TIPPECANOE COUNTY, Ind. (WLFI) – Lane restrictions will begin this week on U.S. 231 in Tippecanoe County, said INDOT officials.
Crews will begin installing the temporary traffic signal for the new bridge construction over Little Wea Creek, just north of County Road 800 South, according to the Indiana Department of Transportation.

Calder said the permanent traffic signal at the bridge is scheduled to be activated on Monday, July 7 for construction to begin. The one lane restriction is scheduled to last for 60 days.
The new bridge project on U.S. 231 was awarded to Milestone Contractors for $796,731. The entire project is scheduled for completion by May 30, 2015.
