Silver Alert issued for Hancock Co. man

GREENFIELD, Ind. (WLFI) — Police have issued a Silver Alert for a Hancock County man who is blind and sometimes has seizures.

Jody Scroggins, 56, spoke with family members late Monday night. When family went to his home Tuesday morning, they found his front door open. However, they said his personal items were left in the home.

Scroggins is a white male, 6-feet tall and weighs about 180 pounds. He has shoulder length brown hair and brown eyes. It’s unclear what he was wearing, but his shoes were still in his house.

Scroggins lives in the Philly Estates Mobile Home Park on U.S. 40 in Greenfield, Ind.
