Library hosting event to help Almost Home Humane Society

OTTERBEIN, Ind. (WLFI) – The Otterbein Public Library is hosting a community service project that will benefit the Almost Home Humane Society.

Those attending the community service project will be making pillows and blankets for the animals at the Almost Home Humane Society. Anyone interested in bringing supplies or making the pillows and blankets is welcome to attend.

Organizers hope the project will be beneficial for everyone involved.

“We are definitely wanting people to come in and check out the library, and see all the fun things that we have to offer. So not only is a community service project in that we are giving to the Almost Home Humane Society, but it’s also a way for us to show what we have to offer here at the library,” Programs coordinator Lauren Lee said.

The project will take place at the library on July 3 from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. provides commenting to allow for constructive discussion on the stories we cover.
