KOKOMO, Ind. (WISH) – A Kokomo man wanted on rape charges turned himself in to Howard County sheriff deputies on Wednesday afternoon.

24-Hour News 8′s partners, The Kokomo Tribune, reports Zachary T. Allen, 24, turned himself in at the Howard County jail at 1:30 p.m. He was wanted on a warrant for two class B felony charges of rape.

The warrant, filed on Tuesday, accuses Allen of raping a 22-year-old woman on two occasions, Maj. Brian Seldon of the Kokomo Police Department said on Thursday.

The victim told police in April that she was raped once at Allen’s home and once at her home.

The Tribune reports Allen remained in jail as of 10 a.m. Thursday. He is being held on a $30,000 cash-only bail.
