Who’s issuing the same-sex marriage license in our area?

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WLFI) — Indiana counties are split when it comes to issuing the same-sex marriage license, and it’s the same around the News 18 viewing area.

The following counties are currently issuing licenses to same-sex couples:

  • Boone
  • Benton
  • Carroll
  • Cass
  • Clinton
  • Fountain
  • Jasper
  • Miami
  • Montgomery
  • Newton
  • Pulaski
  • Tippecanoe
  • White

Meanwhile, just one lone county left in the viewing area not not issuing licenses:

  • Warren
