Sleepy driver causes I-65 crash

WHITE COUNTY, Ind. (WLFI) – A woman who fell asleep while driving on Interstate 65 Wednesday morning crashed causing traffic backups.

According to Indiana State Police, the woman was driving in the southbound lane in White County near Wolcott. She dozed off and left the roadway.

The driver then over corrected back onto the roadway and struck a semitrailer. She then swerved back hitting the guard rail.

Police said neither driver was injured.
