LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WLFI) – Lafayette police need the public’s help finding man wanted for criminal confinement and intimidation.

Jerwond Williams, 22, is the subject of this week’s Fugitive Search. Police say Williams is 5-feet-11-inches tall, weighs 160 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes.

In 2012, News 18 reported Williams used a loaded gun to hold his girlfriend and five children overnight. During the incident, Williams hit the girlfriend in the face as well her oldest son in the chest so hard it knocked the wind out of him.

Detectives now say he is wanted on a warrant for criminal confinement and intimidation.

Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to call the Lafayette Police Department at 765-807-1200 or the anonymous We-Tip Hotline at 800-78-CRIME.
