FRANKFORT, Ind. (WLFI) – Frankfort High School has a new head basketball coach.

Athletic Director Ed Niehaus said Jared Catron was approved by the school board Tuesday night.

Catron graduated from Frankfort in 2005 before heading to Franklin College where he was captain of the basketball team his senior year.

For the past three years, Catron has been a varsity assistant coach for the Hot Dogs.

As News 18 has reported, the coaching position was vacated by Tom Weeks, who resigned last month amid accusations he had an inappropriate relationship with a student.
