INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — An oral argument has been scheduled in the ongoing same-sex marriage debate.

The Seventh Circuit court in Chicago has scheduled oral arguments for Aug. 13, and it will combine the cases in Indiana and Wisconsin.

A federal judge had ruled that Indiana’s ban on same-sex marriage was unconstitutional. For a three-day period, same-sex couples were married throughout Indiana before an emergency stay in the case was granted pending an appeal to the Seventh Circuit court.

The arguments will be heard in Chicago.
