Man strikes girlfriend with chunk of concrete

PERU, Ind. (WISH) – Police arrested a man for striking his girlfriend in the face with a piece of concrete.

Torrick Johnson, 37, was arrested for battering his girlfriend. The Kokomo Tribune reports that Johnson was preliminary charged with domestic battery when he grasped his girlfriend and shoved her out of the their apartment.

The girlfriend was waiting outside for someone to pick her up when Johnson grabbed a piece of concrete and hit her in the face. He then fled on a bicycle.

The woman sustained injuries to her face and arm, and had pain in her head, neck and face.

Johnson was arrested and booked in the Miami County jail on a $3,000 bond.
