WLPD find shell casings during shots fired investigation

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WLFI) – West Lafayette Police Department responded to a report of shots fired just after 1 a.m. Wednesday at the Parkway Apartments on Soldiers Home Road.

Police said the call came in from a neighbor who reported seeing a group of three males outside of his window. According to the caller, he then saw one of the males point a gun in to the air and fire it.

Officers were unable to locate the subjects, but did find shell casings and evidence that street lights were shot.
