Lafayette-area organizations receive $4,000 checks

LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WLFI) – Riley Children’s Foundation gives $8,000 in grants to two Lafayette-area organizations.

A pair of $4,000 checks were presented today to CASA for kids and Food Finders. The two organizations were chosen by Riley Foundation because of their work with the health and wellness of children.

Riley Foundation Regional Leadership chair Grayce Lechtenberg said it’s important they reach out to kids and offer help.

“It not only helps the community, the children and their families in the community, but it promotes awareness of Riley Children’s Hospital and what they do for children in the state of Indiana,” said Lechtenberg.

As part of their mission to provide the best health and outreach care for children in the state, Riley Foundation has given $70,000 to organizations across Indiana this year.
