Man arrested after round fired in Lafayette home

LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WLFI) – Lafayette police arrested one man after responding to a report of shots fired at 80 Carolyn Court.

LPD received a call at 1:30 Tuesday morning from a woman saying a man she shared a home with had shot a gun at her.

Officers did find evidence of one round fired in the home.

Police arrested 40-year-old Harold Bass Jr. for criminal recklessness and intimidation with a deadly weapon.

The gun believed to be involved in the incident was recovered in the home once police obtained a search warrant.

No one was injured during the incident.
