MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Ind. (WLFI) — Indiana State Police have identified the body found in a trailer near Ladoga last month.

Using DNA results, police determined the deceased male is 41-year-old Shane Sowers of Clinton, Indiana.

The body was found in Montgomery County June 15, but investigators still don’t know how Sowers died. His body was discovered by someone trying to dismantle the trailer to salvage scrap metal.

Police said the trailer had been moved to the Ladoga site from Clinton five days earlier.
